Brandon Johnson has served scouting over the last 11 years as Assistant Cub Master, Pack Committee, Troop Committee, Assistant Scoutmaster, Popcorn Kernel, SuperNova Mentor, Shooting Instructor, Merit Badge Counselor, and Unit Commissioner. He steps into the role of District Commissioner while registered with two packs, Pack 294 and Pack 295, and Troop 1225. Brandon came up through the scouting program as a youth having experienced 4 years as a scout.

Brandon’s vision of the Commissioner Team includes sharing the Unit Commissioner experience with more volunteers. He is focused on bring the district up to the 17 needed to service all the units effectively. As such, the leadership asks that if you know anyone who is good at communicating with people and sharing their knowledge of Scouting effectively, please communicate their contact information to Brandon. We’d love to see if we can share the dedication of commissioner service with them.

Brandon also sees a vision for the District where more leaders are trained and units participate in more shooting sports. Both of these things will require work with the District Committee but will serve to drive a stronger and more fun program for the youth.

When Brandon is not scouting, you can find him tinkering with automobiles. He enjoys restoring and repairing classic cars and trucks.

Brandon appreciates all of the volunteers who give their time to make better leaders for tomorrow.
